Alcides is a Certified Accountant and has developed his 30 years career in Multinationals such as KPMG, Citibank, ABN Amro, Santander and HSBC. His expertise is largely focused in Financial & Control Areas and Banking Product Development. Developed knowledge in the Real Estate market, Participated in Several M&As and Business Integration in Brazil and Led the Design Team of a Global Large Scale IT & Finance Transformation Project in The Netherlands.

GERALDO NETO

Co-Founder

Geraldo has been an Entrepreneur for over 27 years in several Commercial and Service Business areas. Geraldo has dedicated his past 10+ years to Analyze & Support other Entrepreneurs as a Mentor to their Businesses. He has taken a VP position at Gavea Angels (oldest Angels Investors’ Association in RJ-Brazil) and also acted as a Counselor at ACRio – Commercial Association at RJ-Brazil. Already invested in 9 Startups and currently has 4 active participations.

RUDOLPH IHNS

Co-Founder (GAA Europe)

Rudolph holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UFRJ in Rio de Janeiro and an MBA from University of Florida. He has more than 30 years of experience in top executive positions in multinational companies as ARCO Petroleum and Unisys , in Brazil, USA and Germany. Most recently was CFO in MMX Mining and Eneva Power companies, leading the IPO of these two companies in Bovespa in Brazil. Rudolph is currently based in Madrid, Spain.

EDUARDO BORGES

Co-Founder (GAA Europe)

Eduardo is an international finance professional with over 27 years of accumulated experience in corporate finance and banking, having led high performance teams in the structuring of sophisticated financial solutions for clients of banks in which he worked for in Brazil, United States and Europe. In his last Project was responsible for the Global M&A activity of Banco Santander, based in Madrid, Spain. Eduardo holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from PUC in São Paulo.

EDUARDO KARRER

Co-Founder

Eduardo holds a Civil Engineer degree with a MBA, both in RJ-Brazil and Advanced Management education from Rice University and Southern Methodist University. He is an Executive with more than 30 years experience in a wide range of corporations and Business segments. He was CEO of El Paso (Brazil & South America), Rio Polimeros, MPX and Eneva, managing business units in several countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Bolivia.

IVAN AVILA

Co-Founder

Ivan has a Mechanical Engineering degree and master in Production Management. He has 28 years experience in the Automobile Supply Chain and is a Quality Consultant for companies in Process Management Systems (VDA.6-1, ISO 9001 and ISO TS 16949), Lean Manufacturing and Product Certification. Developed audits in the Supply Chain for companies in Argentina, Austria, Germany, South Korea and USA. Certified trainer in Process audit, Quality instruments & Kaizen implementation.

Camila Farani

As an angel investor I headed Gávea Angels one of the most active angel investment group in Brazil founded on 2005, increased the investors members nearly 150%, opened chapters in Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo. I also have been investing over 30 startups and bringing critical business connections, providing hands-on practical mentoring, helping on building out the management team and raising additional venture capital funding as well. I have been doing pre seed and seed investments in startups with focus on SaaS, Niche Ecommerce, Education, Consumer Goods and Food market providing more than just money.
